Start an MF Chapter!
The Mother Forward local chapter application process is now open! We currently have chapters in Pennsylvania and Colorado working to move the issues of paid family leave and affordable childcare at the state level.
Forming a Mother Forward chapter is powerful for many reasons! The road to meaningful change on childcare and paid leave happens at the state and local level. Not to mention the fact that doing local organizing builds lasting relationships with moms where you live–so you get to grow your village! If you’re excited to take local action on these issues and meet new moms in the process, then this is the place for you!
This application is for the person who will serve as the chapter lead. If you have a co-leader, please note that in the application. We estimate that this role will take roughly 5 hours a month, with the recommendation that your chapter meet monthly (either in-person or virtually). As chapter lead, you will convene local meetings to plan your events, keep regular communication with interested moms, and stay connected with the larger MF organization.
